I had one of those kick you in the gut reality checks last night that shows the ramifications of our actions last night. Made me feel real low then REALLY good due to my decision. I have met a fefmale who is the kindest and sweetest thing I in all honesty have ever met. She told me about how she almost died and the medical issues she has today due to a wreck she was in at 11 months. Hit by a drunk driver. I thought to myself what would I have done had one of the numerous times I drove drunk I hurt an 11 month old child? I also thanked god that she survived... She has brought a very bright light to my newly sober life. The world works in mysterious ways and the big man has a plan albeit a mysterious one. I am even more glad with my decisions today. 160 days sober[/i][/b]

Congrats.

My brother was killed by a drunk driver on St. Patrick's Day some years ago. The woman who was in the car with him lost her unborn baby.

You made a good choice. Congratulations.

Razz Right on Ryan, thanks for sharing that with us Bro... Very Happy Yeah, I lost both my Parents to drugs and alcohol, along with an older Foster Sister and younger Foster Brother. "There but for the grace of God go I"... Today was day 75 for me. Life is good, and everyday has it's blessings and surprises. Wink

75 days is awesome! I remember how stoked I was at 75 days. Up next is 90 days and that is a quarter year. Be proud my friend.
