One of my Bro's at the BDS skateboarding message board I hang out at posted this... It is absolutely heart breaking and devastating. If you aren't a praying person please at least keep the people of the community in your thoughts...
Some of you know that I'm a youth pastor in Bailey, Colorado, a small, beautiful mountain community. We had a day from hell today (Wed). A guy with a gun and probably a bomb entered the school and took MY YOUTH kids hostage and ended up killing Emily, a 16 yr old girl. THOSE ARE MY KIDS!!! I work with ALL the kids from that school and I LOVE them deeply!!! Many of my kids just got evacuated by swat teams without incident (Thank you Lord!), but alot had contact with the gunman and several were hostages. My heart is broken, but I need to be here for this kind of time in their lives. PLEASE PRAY FOR MY WISDOM, PERSONAL STRENGTH, COMPASSION AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF.
