Today began my 90 days with no drivers license. I got off work at 12:30 AM and skateboarded home 5 miles. It was rad, I feel so alive!!! I haven't felt this good since I was a teenager living at Malibu Lake Ca. and use to skateboard everywhere for transportation. Out of the 5 miles, I'd say 3 of it is all mellow down hill. Pretty smooth roads, no traffic and a big bright moon. It was a blast and a great workout. I've got 8 weeks before the snow flies at best, so I am going to ride while I can before it gets too cold. I wish I had discovered this ages ago!

Well I skated home the last three nights, and it was awesome! I am sore though I have to admit... I am discoveing muscles in my ass I didn't even know I had. It has gotten easier and faster each night. I'm going to an AA Meeting tonight and going to pick up my belated 30 Day Chip. Then I'm going to skate home. It's only a little over a mile away though, as opposed to work which is 5 miles away. This is a great work out and a fun way to do it.
