Shocked Yesterday I biffed it pretty good skateboarding home from work... My board came out from under me, and I landed on my head and back. Fortunately I had my brainbucket on, and full protective gear! I can say without a doubt, had I not been padded up, I would have definitely been knocked out, and probably have broken my right wrist/arm... My backpack saved me from a good case of road-rash on my back... The fall totally knocked the wind out of me, and strained my back. I have a good case of whiplash today... This all happened 1 mile into my commute. I had to lay on the grass on the side of the road for 20 minutes to recover, and then rode on and limped home the last 4 miles. There is way too much traffic to be skating home on the weekends. I'll be riding my mt. bike on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, I'll save the skating for Monday through Wednesday nights. It's allot cooler at midnight, and basically no traffic. I'm sore, but I'm glad to be alive, and to have not broken anything... Confused

Roger "Doc". Cool
